Kathryn B. Parish (Kay) focuses her practice on state and federal criminal trial work and appeals. She has written appeals filed in Missouri appellate courts, the Missouri Supreme Court, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court, and regularly appears in Municipal, State and Federal courts throughout the State of Missouri. She is an alumnus of Georgetown University, a Cum Laude graduate of Washington University School of Law, and has received awards for excellence in intellectualism, community service, and for her representation of indigent clients.

Kay takes a personal approach to representation, working closely with her clients and - as appropriate - their families and loved ones to try to achieve the best result possible for each individual client, considering not only legal and factual issues to be raised, but also the person she represents and the circumstances of his or her life as a whole.  Her goal with every case is to achieve a result tailored to the individual needs of that client and the facts of his or her specific case.  She works with her clients to try to help them make the most of a bad situation, ensure that they understand the process every step of the way, and can feel good about the ultimate result - whatever it is.

Examples of some of Kay's recent accomplishments include: a not guilty in a felony property destruction delinquency case; a dismissal at preliminary hearing on a felony drug possession case on a close association issue; convincing a judge to let a client take a day out of jail on her own recognizance so that she could spend the day with her dying mother.
